Meet Vert! -- chiropractic's spinal cartoon

Hello future DC's -

Back when I was in chiropractic college (LACC 1995), I created a spinal cartoon character named Vert -- or Mr. Vert te'Brae, to be more formal. The Vert cartoons ran in the school paper, and he quickly became an icon of sorts. I even created a "Vert Book" upon graduation. The great thing about drawing the Vert cartoons was that it allowed me to take all of the knowledge that I was learning in chiropractic college and filter it through the life of a spinal cartoon caricature.

Recently, I gave Vert his own website, SpinalToons.com. The site contains over 200 pages of Vert cartoons, explanations behind the cartoons, as well as the "back" story on Vert himself. Plus, I've included a bunch of sketches and other Vert stuff that I'm sure you'll get a kick out of.

Check it out... it's all free, and really -- you guys (the chiropractic students) are the audience that will "get" the most out of these jokes.

Enjoy... and let me know what you think.
