Life University announces series of changes on staff

Life University recently announced a series of faculty and staff changes. Dr. Michael Schmidt, who served as interim president last year, was named assistant to President Ben DeSpain.

Dr. John Downes, an instructor in the sport health science program, becomes acting dean of the College of Chiropractic. Dr. Brian Sheres, associate registrar, becomes acting associate dean of the College of Chiropractic. Other new appointees include Dr. Michael Hofer, acting dean of the College of Arts and Sciences; Dr. Ken Heairlston, associate registrar; Sue Dudt, director of student life; and Dr. Cynthia Boyd, acting chief of staff, clinic.
